Ever since I was young, I was always told I had a keen interest in how things work. In high school I was very interested in cars and automotive design, so my physics teacher suggested I become a mechanical engineer. I attended Missouri University of Science and Technology where I graduated with a minor in mechanical engineering in 2017, then went back to get a graduate certificate in contemporary structural engineering in 2024. I have worked in machine design, deck and structural design, and I am now working at DOTec on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design as well as managing project bids.

Outside of work, I am an avid reader and enjoy science fiction, fantasy, and true crime genres. I am a big fan of music (some might say fanatical) and I collect records and CDs of my favorite bands. I also am a self-taught drummer, guitarist, and bassist. I enjoy playing indoor soccer on a team with my brother (the Relapsed Gambling Addicts is our name, don’t ask) as well as playing golf or long-distance running. I am a proud member of the Sunday Morning Rugby Football Club out of St. Louis and enjoy playing both traditional rugby as well as the seven’s style (and the occasional game of touch rugby). I currently live in Affton, MO with my fiancée Kim where we enjoy walking in parks, taking care of our house, binging shows, and trying the newest craft beer or pizza place.
