Finite Element Analysis

FEA (Finite Element Analysis) uses highly sophisticated computer technology to create an elemental model of any physical object. Models are three- dimensional and are assigned material properties to match the actual object. This gives the designer the freedom to manipulate design variables (see Design Optimization) and verify performance, making FEA one of the most powerful tools available to any designer or manufacturer. FEA also results in cost savings throughout the life of the project, from prototyping to testing to production.
